A Fond Farewell: Celebrating Fiona's 10 Years at Steven Burgess

After a decade as an important part of our team, Fiona has officially begun her next chapter.

Ten Years of Fiona

Some people become part of a business. Others become part of its story.

For the past 10 years, Fiona has been an incredibly important part of Steven Burgess, contributing to countless projects and becoming a familiar and much-loved face to both our team and our clients.

Over the years, she has brought her creativity, knowledge, experience and unmistakable personality to the business, helping clients create beautiful and considered interiors along the way.

As Fiona officially retires, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate everything she has brought to Steven Burgess over the past decade.

A Life of Design

Fiona's 10 years at Steven Burgess are just one part of a much longer career dedicated to interior design.

Throughout her working life, Fiona has developed a wealth of knowledge and experience, along with a natural eye for bringing colours, textures, fabrics and furniture together to create beautiful, considered spaces.

During her time with us, she has brought that expertise to countless projects, helping clients turn their ideas into homes that feel personal, welcoming and uniquely theirs.

But perhaps the most important part of Fiona's approach has always been the time she gives to her clients.

She takes the time to listen, understand what they're looking for and help them make decisions with confidence. It's this personal approach, combined with her years of experience and passion for design, that has made her such a valued part of the Steven Burgess team.

A Familiar Face

Ten years is a long time, and Fiona has been part of an enormous amount of change and growth within the business.

She's seen the showroom evolve, watched the team grow and worked on projects of all shapes and sizes along the way.

For our clients, she's been a familiar face — someone they've come to know and trust throughout their projects.

For us, she's been so much more than a colleague.

She's been part of the everyday life of the business, sharing the highs, the challenges and, of course, plenty of laughs along the way.

Not Quite Goodbye...

Although Fiona has officially retired, we're very pleased to say that this isn't quite goodbye.

She's still helping us from time to time with outstanding projects and remains available for interior design work by appointment.

Of course, this will all have to fit around her new, undoubtedly very busy, retirement schedule!

We're delighted that Fiona will still be part of the Steven Burgess story — just with a little more freedom to enjoy everything that comes with retirement.

And Then There Was the Retirement Party...

We couldn't let Fiona head into retirement without celebrating properly.

There was good food, plenty of laughs, a few emotional moments — and, naturally, some appropriate retirement attire...

You've played such an important role in our journey, and while we'll certainly miss having you with us every day, we're incredibly grateful for the years we've had together.

We hope retirement gives you plenty of time to enjoy the things you've been looking forward to — although we have a feeling you may be busier than ever!
